Course content

Introduction to Digital Literacy

We’ll start with a quick activity to cover the meaning of some important terms that will help make it easier for you to use computers without needing to ask for help every 5 minutes.

Microsoft Office & Windows

We’ll get some hands on experience using some of the most common Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). We will cover basic saving and tasks that will give you the confidence to explore and use these computer applications without the worry that you might break something.

Cyber Security

Now that you have the confidence not to break anything, we need to make sure you keep your computer and the information on it safe from others too.
